Hemp Seeds and Vegetable Tacos
A lovely little natural package of healthy deliciousness, featuring shelled hemp seeds which are just a perfect taste compliment for vegetables.
Taking normal everyday vegetables and adding some delicious superfoods, this is a great example of how to be creative and fun with your raw food recipes. As well as your colourful healthy vegetables, these wonderful little tacos also feature shelled hemp seeds which contain a variety of nutrients, including protein, omega-3 fatty acids and phytonutrients.
- 2 small or 1 large heads Romaine Lettuce
- 1/4 cup Shelled Hemp Seeds
- 1 large Carrot
- 1 Avocado
- 6-8 Cherry Tomatoes
- 1/3 cup Corn
- 1/4 cup Olives
- 1 lime or lemon
- Small handful of Cacao Nibs for sprinkling
Cut up all your vegetables into bitesize pieces
Put all your cut up vegetables into a bowl
Add in your shelled hemp seeds
Gently toss together all your ingredients in the bowl
Now assemble your “tacos” – cup your romaine lettuce in your hands so it forms a shape where it can hold the vegetables.
Put in your vegetables into the lettuce.
Final squeeze over some vegetables and sprinkle over some cacao nibs.
